Wild Bills MMA Fight Night 23 in Duluth, GA – Get Tix without Ticketmaster’s Ridiculous Fees

October 23, 2009

Great News for fight fans in Georgia! You’ll now be able to catch the great MMA action at Wild Bills without having to deal with the exorbitant fees charged by Ticketmaster.

But how much money could you save?

Consider this: on a $25 General Admission ticket to Wild Bills Fight Night 23, Ticketmaster will hit you up for $10.95 in fees. Yes. That’s a 43% markup. How many beers can you get for $10.95? I’d guess at least two.

BattlePass’s fees on the $100 VIP table tickets are $10. No surprise order processing fees at the end either. Our total fees on a $100 ticket are less than Ticketmaster’s on a $25 ticket.

Anyway, if you’re interested in catching no less than 10 great fights, the chance to meet Wanderlei “the Axe Murderer” Silva, and of course, the *ahem* “scenery” at Wild Bills, we encourage you to buy beers, not fees. GET TICKETS TO WILD BILLS FIGHT NIGHT 23 AT BATTLEPASS.COM.

Oh, and in case you missed it – you could also hang with the Axe Murderer at Hooters on October 29 and get some free MMA schwag (including the chance to get a Wanderlei-signed axe). Yeah, we have tickets to that too.

Asylum Fight League brings MMA back to Atlantic City this weekend

October 19, 2009

Asylum Fight League brings amateur MMA back to Atlantic City this weekend
BattlePass.com is proud to announce that our spotlight fight of the week is Asylum Fight League XX, this weekend October 24 at the Trump Marina Casino in Atlantic City. Don’t miss this intense night of combat, as a legion of hungry fighters take to the cage in pursuit of victory.
Asylum Fight League has been successfully promoting fights since April of 2008, and have been steadily growing in exposure and attendance with each event. Since hosting the first event at a skating rink in Voorhees, NJ, Promoter and World Champion Kickboxer Carl Mascarenhas has built an organization “by fighters, for fighters.” Event Manager Noah Spitalnick says that Asylum’s mission is to provide a credible testing ground where fighters can test their skills and demonstrate the results of their training against the best fighters in their weight classes from the entire Northeast region. “Asylum gives them the platform to launch a successful career in professional MMA,” he adds.
This is the second event held at the Trump Marina Casino. The first one, on September 18 of this year, drew a sellout crowd.
From the start, Asylum has focused on bringing professional level production value to its amateur events. Marquee venues like the Arena in Philadelphia and the Trump Marina Casino provide a fitting scene for the models and celebrities that frequent these events. Spitalnick stresses that Asylum isn’t satisfied with anything average, “We work with the best sponsors, the best support team, the best gyms. Our Asylum Girls are beautiful. Excellence defines these fights.”
So, if you’re in or Atlantic City this weekend, this event is definitely worth your time. Pick up some tickets and check the fight card at BattlePass.com. If you’re nowhere near Atlantic City this weekend, you can always catch Asylum XX via a live video stream at www.asylumfightleague.com.
