Asylum Fight League brings amateur MMA back to Atlantic City this weekend
BattlePass.com is proud to announce that our spotlight fight of the week is Asylum Fight League XX, this weekend October 24 at the Trump Marina Casino in Atlantic City. Don’t miss this intense night of combat, as a legion of hungry fighters take to the cage in pursuit of victory.
Asylum Fight League has been successfully promoting fights since April of 2008, and have been steadily growing in exposure and attendance with each event. Since hosting the first event at a skating rink in Voorhees, NJ, Promoter and World Champion Kickboxer Carl Mascarenhas has built an organization “by fighters, for fighters.” Event Manager Noah Spitalnick says that Asylum’s mission is to provide a credible testing ground where fighters can test their skills and demonstrate the results of their training against the best fighters in their weight classes from the entire Northeast region. “Asylum gives them the platform to launch a successful career in professional MMA,” he adds.
This is the second event held at the Trump Marina Casino. The first one, on September 18 of this year, drew a sellout crowd.
From the start, Asylum has focused on bringing professional level production value to its amateur events. Marquee venues like the Arena in Philadelphia and the Trump Marina Casino provide a fitting scene for the models and celebrities that frequent these events. Spitalnick stresses that Asylum isn’t satisfied with anything average, “We work with the best sponsors, the best support team, the best gyms. Our Asylum Girls are beautiful. Excellence defines these fights.”
So, if you’re in or Atlantic City this weekend, this event is definitely worth your time. Pick up some tickets and check the fight card at BattlePass.com. If you’re nowhere near Atlantic City this weekend, you can always catch Asylum XX via a live video stream at www.asylumfightleague.com.
